**U16 Girls REP Team Selected**
Congratulations to all the girls who showed courage and dedication over the past few weeks during the tryouts for the U16 Girls Rep Team. The coaches have had a difficult time in selecting the team as all players showed great talent. A team of 18 players have been selected and will compete in the Coastal Girls League. Those that did not make it this year are encouraged to use this as a stepping stone for next year’s tryouts, as you were all very close.

WHITECAPS CAMP - Sat 21 and Sun 22 April, 2012
A special message to all those who attended the Whitecaps FC Camp, from the Whitecaps Coaches:
We were very pleased with the sessions in Pemberton and much of that had to do with the polite behavior displayed by all the players.
We are so impressed with the way everyone worked together, showed consideration to each other, displayed great teamwork and respect to players and the coaches.
Give yourselves a big pat on the back and keep up the great work!
You should be very proud!

WHISTLER YOUTH SOCCER CLUB ANNOUNCES NEW UNIFORM FOR FALL 2011/2012
The Whistler Youth Soccer Club Board is pleased to announce the release of the new uniform which has been developed over the last year with Lionheart Sports, a Vancouver based company. The new uniform is for all players in the U11 to U18 divisions.
Thank you to all the club members who provided feedback in the New Uniform Survey that was sent out earlier in the year. With this information we have been working together with Lionheart to create a unique uniform which is also practical and functional.
Lionheart was chosen as the supplier based on many factors and we look forward to an ongoing relationship with them to ensure our club is well represented both on and off the soccer fields.
With the new uniform came the opportunity to update our logo and create a name for our club. We will continue to operate as Whistler Youth Soccer Club; however, it is important that we have a name that our teams can be proud to call themselves. There were many suggestions from members with the overwhelming majority choosing: WHISTLER AVALANCHE.
The club is also very fortunate to have access to a talented graphic designer who presented many options that incorporated the new name with an updated modern logo which we are also pleased to present.
We expect to take delivery of the new uniforms and off field gear shortly so that all players from U11- U18 will start the new season in their new kit. Follow this link to see the new uniform .
