Players wearing casts – POLICY
The CSA (Canadian Soccer Association) has recently updated its policy regarding players with casts and their eligibility to play. Unfortunately in Rep League if you are wearing a cast you are NOT permitted to play.

WYSC is of the opinion that provided a cast is properly wrapped it presents no danger to players in the House League and will allow players to play if they have a hard cast and it is properly wrapped based on the following:

1/ It is the player and parents responsibility to use bubble wrap secured with tape to cover the cast
2/ The player needs to notify the coach that he/she will play with a wrapped cast
3/ The coach must ensure the referee is notified in order to have the cast checked prior to kickoff
4/ An item of clothing or pinnie is NOT suitable to wrap the cast
5/ Any player that does NOT have their cast bubble wrapped will NOT be able to play

PRO ATHLETE Homestays REQUIRED too…….
Have you ever wondered how a professional triathlete gets ready for a big race such as Ironman Canada?
Well here’s your chance to see it up front and personal.
If you have a spare room, I can find you your very own pro athlete to stay with you and show you the ropes. You’re not needed to provide much more than a bed, but with your wealth of local knowledge I’m sure you’ll create an experience that will last their entire career.

Let me know if you are interested in helping out a starving, struggling triathlete over this important weekend in his/her life.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. whistlersoccer@hotmail.com
