U12 Boys, U12 Girls and U15 Co-Ed Wrap Up Day Results
During the soccer year we do not keep standings for U12 and under based on BC Soccer mandate. U15 Coed is also a mixed and flexible group and team composition varies from week to week, therefore standings are not kept. Often players from Whistler or Pemberton are mixed in order to make balanced teams in the U15 Co- Ed division. It’s more about having fun and staying active than who wins from week to week!
On the final day each team played 2 games. Winners of the first games played for the Plaque and runners up played too.
First place Plaques were awarded to the following teams:
U15 Coed – PYSA team coached by James Linklater
U12 Boys – WYSC Team #3 – coached by Mike Furey and Brian Lutke
U12 Girls – WYSC Team #2 – coached by JF Pelchat and Shannon Susko

CONGRATULATIONS to the following players who were selected by their peers as MVP. After the final games were played, players from each team were asked to choose a player from the opposition to receive a $10 Tim Hortons gift card.

European Football School back in Whistler for summer camp!
Saibo Talic remembers the first time he came to Whistler in the summertime to coach his annual weeklong soccer camp.
It was around 1999, about the same time he founded his European Football School on the North Shore.
That summer in Whistler there was a small group of players ready to learn from his extensive experience — Talic is a Canadian licence “A” coach and UEFA licence “B” coach.
How things have changed for the Whistler Youth Soccer Club in the last 17 years.
